Natasha Blackshear founded Blackshear Capital & Legal in 2005. Natasha has over ten years experience in analyzing, valuing, investing in and counseling closely-held companies. She concentrates her practice in corporate law, corporate finance and development and public finance. tl-pharmacy.com
Prior to founding the Firm, Natasha worked as a venture capitalist for five years at Council Ventures, LP, during which time she analyzed over 800 business plans, interviewed scores of entrepreneurs, performed intensive due diligence (business, financial and legal), negotiated transaction terms, drafted and edited term sheets and closing documents. In all, Natasha helped to invest and reserve over $34 million in nine portfolio companies.
Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Natasha worked as a senior associate in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Corporate Valuation Consulting division (now merged with the investment bank of Duff and Phelps) where she performed valuations of clients' financial securities, businesses or business units, and underlying intangible assets by performing economic and financial analyses for business transaction, financial reporting and estate tax purposes.
