Neth Williams joined Blackshear Capital & Legal, PLLC as an intern in September 2007 and, upon finishing the internship, was hired as a paralegal in January 2008. neomeds.net
Prior to graduating Magna Cum Laude with an A.S. in Legal Assisting from Draughonís Junior College, Neth was a Petty Officer Third Class in the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, a top military program. After receiving the Commanding Officerís Personal Excellence Award, he was transferred to the Judge Advocate Generalís (JAG) Corp of Charleston, SC.
After an honorable discharge, Neth pursued a degree in Legal Assisting. As a student, he was invited to join the advisory board as the student member. During his student tenure on the Board, he made the contacts necessary to allow for the Nashville Legal Aid Society to give night students an opportunity to obtain practical legal experience through Pro Bono work.
In February of 2008, he received the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Middle Tennessee Paralegal Association.
